And I can always get my pet an appointment.Sheila W. ★★★★★ I’ve been going to Gibraltar for 5 years and my pups have been seeing Dr. Duderstadt for about 6-7 years. Gibraltar has the absolute finest, friendliest and kindest staff you will ever come across. I lost my girl, Yara in a terrible accident 2 years ago. Dr. Duderstadt and her staff met me at the clinic just before they opened. They wrapped my baby up and wheeled her into the hospital with the utmost care and respect. Let’s be honest, people. These are first responders. These people have some of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen. Gibraltar is far and above any animal clinic I’ve been to. So, thank you, Dr. Duderstadt. And the entire Gibraltar staff. You do selfless work with a smile and a lot of times a hug. I truly have so much admiration for you and it’s a honor to call you our animal hospital, our doctor and our medical techs ❤️❤️❤️Nicole M. ★★★★★ We had to put our Jack Russell CJ down yesterday. The Vet techs and office staff are very friendly and professional and take great care of my fur babies.Shelly W. ★★★★★ I love Gibraltar Vet! Everyone there is so kind and friendly! Dr Duderstadt is the best!Rebecca C. ★★★★★ Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital has been my vet since 2009 when I first moved to Michigan. They have taken care of several generations of my dogs since then and I've always been pleased with the care received by their knowledgeable and professional staff. A lot has happened over the years, including minor issues, major surgeries and illnesses, and the dreaded but inevitable euthanasia procedures. The veterinarians have changed too as people have come and gone. But the quality of care, compassion and client service have always been exceptional. I'm so grateful they are there when I need them.Laurie B. ★★★★★ Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital is outstanding. They have an amazing team of doctors, vet technicians, groomers, kennel boarding staff, pharmacy staff, front desk staff. I have alway felt that they truly care about you and your pet. The doctors explain everything and answer your questions. They treat your pets like family. Also, you don't have to wait an hour to see a doctor.Andrea E. ★★★★★ I’ve been taking my dogs to Gibraltar vet for many years now. I’ve always had a pleasant experience and they put up with my two crazy dogs. The staff are always friendly, they answer any questions I have.I’ve boarded my dogs there many times too and never had an issue, even when I was concerned leaving my anxiety puppy there they made sure she would be okay and told me I could call any time to check on her which made me feel a lot better. It also gives me peace of mind knowing they’re at their vet if something were to happen.I highly recommend getting their wellness plan if you have a puppy, especially if they need to be spayed. It may seem pricey at first but I felt it paid off in the long run.Amy K. ★★★★★ The staff is always so welcoming & friendly! We’ve been taking our dog there for 4 years & have been extremely happy with Gibraltar Vet Clinic!Jamie D. ★★★★★ Staff is always nice and professional. Vet staff is great with my dogMichele A. ★★★★★ Dont let his unwillingness to leave his carrier make a statement, but he he and I love this veterinary hospital. They are easy to work with and are all so friendlyDawn S. ★★★★★ Amazing place. Great with my feisty dogSheri B. ★★★★★ When I woke up June 8th, 2022, it was the day I had been dreading for the last 15 years... It was clear that it was time my dog Trixy had to cross the rainbow bridge. I called every vet in the area and they all told me the same thing: they couldn't get her in for another week or so. As I reached the last "vet near me" on my google search list I was desperate. That vet thankfully ended up being Gibraltar Vet. From the moment my uncontrollable sobs were heard on the phone, they understood the dire need of getting my beloved dog of 15 years and 9 days the care she desperately needed. I was told I could bring her in as soon as I could and the doctor would move his schedule around because keeping her alive at this point would be inhumane due to her suffering.Since then, I have taken Trixy's brother (my other dog), Beau, a rescue that is very weary of strangers due to his past, to see them. They are so kind and gentle with him that he has no issues going there.100000/10 would recommend going there because you can tell they genuinely care about animals and want to help the best way they can. I won't go anywhere elseLauryn G. ★★★★★ Always good care of my animal friends.Fred W. ★★★★★ Everyone is very friendly, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and will work with to find the best outcome for our furbabies.Sheryl ★★★★★ They care for your animal just like family! Our dog has a history of gastrointestinal issues (she's a senior) and Gibraltar called us immediately when she started having issues. They got her seen by a staff vet ASAP & began treatment immediately. What a huge peace of mind for us since we were still out of town at the time. They truly care for and love your animals. We've boarded our dogs for a long time with Gibraltar Vet and wouldn't trust anyone else with our senior girl!Sharon M ★★★★★ My kitty had a intestinal surgery, they treated her with great care and helped us out a lot. the only thing i would say is it’s a bit pricey, but it’s about the lowest your gonna pay for a surgery. Thank you Gib Vet for helping Grace ❤️Skye S. ★★★★★ I put Dr. Jane by accident on my review. I meant Dr. Judy and staff. Absolutely incredible and compassionate! A+! Wouldn't even think about taking my pet anywhere else. Thank you Dr Judy and staff for the incredible care for Emmy! 💗Becky P. ★★★★★ My most positive comment is the way the team of employees all seem to be sincerely animal lovers. It is more than just a job for them. The vet services and boarding both have been nothing but positive for my Shih tzu Roxie.Cindy C. ★★★★★ excellent caring servicedee G. ★★★★★ I choose Gibraltar Veterinary because they offer ALL the services I need in one place, I stay because of their professional and friendly staff! Having the option of boarding my pet basically at her Dr's, gives me the knowledge that she is well cared for.Tin N. ★★★★★ Really professional from the vet right down to the helpDave B. ★★★★★ The front desk is always nice never rude the few times I have been in thus far. When calling it is the same always friendly never rude. And…. Dr. Duderstadt is amazing. I absolutely trust her to take care of my 2 new kitties. After an unexpected and for me a traumatic loss of my 9 year old cat Angel and a horrible vet experience I came here and she is a God send. Nothing less than an amazing vet and human.Wendi O. ★★★★★ They are the best at taking care of your pet and human worries.Laura Carole H. ★★★★★ Absolutely love taking my pup to this vet! The staff is always so friendly and kind. They are very attentive to you and your pets needs. I would definitely recommend taking your pet here for the best care.Jacob S. ★★★★★ All the staff is always very kind with the pets and with the people. They keep you informed of all the pending vaccination or test missing for your furry friend. The curbside service is also very good.Juan Pablo B. ★★★★★ I always receive exceptional care for my pet at Gibraltar Vet Hospital. Morgan does a great job grooming my pet. The veterinarians are always caring and attentive to my pets needs and my concerns. Wouldn’t take Bella anywhere else!Jane T. ★★★★★ Brought my 1.5 year old mini Australian Shepard here for a second opinion regarding an on & off limping problem she has been having for a few weeks. Although I was unable to go inside with her, I felt that the staff took their time to explain their whole examination and findings. I spoke directly with Dr. Hilton twice during my dogs visit and he ensured any questions and concerns I had were acknowledged and addressed. All the team members were professional on the phone and in person, I know my dog is in great hands here. We will likely be making the switch to full time patients here. It is worth the extra drive from our house for the quality care my pup received! Thank you Dr. Hilton and Kristin, LVT especially for taking great care of of Lily!Kia B. ★★★★★ Going to this veterinary hospital just seemed a lot different, they go way out of there way to make sure that your pet received the best of care,no matter it be a major problem or just a pet grooming. I definitely would recommend this facility 110%tom T. ★★★★★ All staff caring and concerned about my pet. The veterinarian was thorough and compassionate.Vicki M. ★★★★★ Clean, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. We took my childhood pets here and now I take my own pets. Thank you for always taking such good care of my pups!Lindsay F. ★★★★★ I was left hanging by my current veterinarian even though they knew my cat was suffering from a severe UTI for the last 2 and a 1/2 months. I would call sometimes for a couple days in a row and never get a return phone call even though I was told the doctor will call you back but again no response. I was still asking for answers and help as she was still suffering. We chose to take her to call the Gibraltar vet and got immediate help! The doctor explained very thoroughly and patiently as we were understandably worried about our little fur baby. She is now feeling much better 🙂 Thanks to the Gibraltar vet!Wendi L. ★★★★★ Have a dog with an ear infection, and needed to take to the vets. My current vets could not get me an appointment for 2 weeks. They said I could walk in but wait time is 2-4 hoursSomeone told me to call Gibraltar Vets and I did. Called Wednesday, got an appointment 8am Monday and on waitlist. I received a call on Friday morning to come in at 2:15. Whole process was about 40 minutes, experience was great. Thank youMichael B. ★★★★★ I took my 4 yr old pup to the vet down the street from me 3 yrs ago. She was lethargic and peeing blood. The doctor ran a blood test and told me I needed to put her down. I was upnorth and my sister was watching her for me. I was devastated to say the least. So my sister said no way and she took my dog the half hour drive down to Gibraltar animal hospital to get a second opinion. They took her right in and back and ran some blood tests and said she was very sick. They kept her overnight and tried some medication and fluids that they thought might help. They diagnosed her with an auto immune disease and sent her home the next day with extra iv bags of fluid just in case she needed it. Free of charge so they wouldn't have to charge me another overnight stay. Shes 7 now and doing great all thanks to GAH. My whole family takes all their pets there now, and I won't take mine anywhere else. Totally worth the 30 minute drive for us! The docs are amazing and the staff is super caring. We love this place!Leigha H. ★★★★★ I was referred here by a friend with a grumpy cat. I thought if they could keep that cat healthy I'd give them a try. I was worried because of curbside pick up. No problems! I actually preferred curbside to going inside. A nice young lady came out and took my Chihuahua inside. I spoke with the vet over the phone. She was very nice and answered all my questions. I paid over the phone because I didn't have a card set upOut comes my dog relaxed and happy. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks everyone!Arlene H. ★★★★★ They took exceptional care of my old dogs last yearcheryl b ★★★★★ I would recommend Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital to everyone!! They are very friendly and truly care about the well-being of your pet. They take great pride in making sure they are healthy. From my fur baby HarleyLynn C. ★★★★★ Very pleased with the service and care I received at this office. The staff were friendly and informative, and the doctor took the time to answer any and all of the questions I had.Dan I. ★★★★★ We came her with our furbaby Sassy. We had her for 11 years and rescued her when she was 5. When we got her we rescued her from a farm. She was a hot mess. She had matted fur all around her neck, her fur was dark brown, she pooped every where. After taking her home, giving her a bath and cutting the mats out, we realized she was a Border Collie. We worked with her and she became the greatest Blessing ever given to our family. She also became my husband's seizure/companion dog. She was our absolute everything. She was more then just a animal. She was our family member/furbaby. Literally. It's bad enough we are locked in our houses with no where to go, but our worst nightmare came true. We went to take Sassy potty and she could not get up. She also had this dizzy sway, when she looked at us. When she did try to get up her legs were bowed out and extremely weak, so she fell back down. I slept by her on the floor all night. In the morning we drove to the Gibraltar Vetrinary HospitalThey were extremely patient with both of us. We were in tears already because we had a feeling what was going to happen. They came out to our car in masks and gloves with a guerney. They were extremely gentle as the put her up on it. Mind you she weighed between 60 and 80 pounds......They took her inside as we waited because of the quarantine. We received a call from the vet about 25 min later. She said, there is a nuerological disorder that oler dogs get. Once they get this they never %100 recover. She said the dizziness might go away, but her legs most likely will never be totally better. At that point we asked how much it would be to stop her suffering. We were given 3 options. Cremated and taking the ashes home....$450. Cremated with other dogs...$250. Or euthanasia and taking the body home. We had no place to bury her so we took the second option knowing that because of the situation we couldn't afford $400 at this time. The price was a little high however, they were absolutely comforting. They let my husband and I both come in. They provided masks for both of us. They let us spend as much time as we needed alone with her. Then she came in to do the procedure, she was extremely gentle.....which touched my heart. We were both holding our baby and petting her when she peacefully left us. She looked like she was in absolute peace. Then she left us again and said take as much time as you need. One of the hardest moments of our lives. After that she apologized for our loss. You could tell she cared . A week later we received a card with condolences. They were absolutely the perfect place to go.Jodie W. ★★★★★ During the COVID crisis our family dog became very ill. He had lymphoma and went from a happy, ornery dog who tried to steal any food he could to a shy dog who did not want to eat almost anything. He lost weight, became weak and very quickly had difficulty breathing and going up and down stairs. We knew his suffering should end and had to make the hard decision to euthanize. We had never been to Gibraltar vet but our vet was closed and so turned to Gibraltar. During such a sad time, the staff were nothing less than wonderful. From the receptionist to the techs to Dr. Hilton. It was hard to say goodbye to a beloved 13 y/o friend but they made everything as calming as possible with the utmost empathy and compassion- both the techs and Dr. Hilton explained everything to me, step by step. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and help with his transition at a time when the world has seemed turned upside down in so many ways. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone with a pet. Should we ever decide to get another family dog or other animal, this is the only place I would bring it. Thank you all sincerly from our family for your help.Laura T ★★★★★ We had an urgent situation with our dog & they were awesome!!Jamie D. ★★★★★ excellant service superior jobcarole G. ★★★★★ My dog hates going to the vet, but the staff does everything they can to make his experience better! Very friendly people, always a good experience.Catherine W. ★★★★★ Super nice staff; very friendly. Facility is nice and clean!Pr. Albert Le B. ★★★★★ Very clean, welcoming and professional.Brian B. ★★★★★ I'm so impressed by how quick I'm able to get an appointment, I'm not sitting in the lobby waiting for hours to see the Doctors and how through the exams are. Dr Judy has been especially amazing with my seniors. So happy to have found you !Leanna S. ★★★★★ We have two dogs. One a Cavilier King Charles the other a Border Collie. Both love going to Gibraltar, they show no fear or anxiety. They know where they are treated well. That's good enough for me, I find the staff very helpful and VERY friendly.John C. ★★★★☆ Dr Cole vet apologized for the delay of Dolce first visit. He checked him throughly and cared for Dolce’s issues. Worth the wait 🙂 thank you.Elizabeth J. ★★★★☆ The Doc & staff are great and care about our pet, last minute ( end of day for them)they seen Roxy our dog who had been sick for days, thought it would pass but didn't . Now she is doing well and back to herself! Thank youYears later I guess they have gotten to big to care anymore!!Not such a great review. It takes 2 weeks to get an appointment . Only need a doggy shot. To go to such appointment. The told it was another week later. I didn’t want to wait two weeks for my dog to get a shot! Which takes 2 seconds and you’ll pay 150 dollars. Not bad pay for 2 to 5 minutes . My dog is licking her paws and eyes raw. I put a cone on her even. Which is helping some. Just so frustrating!!!!!! Time to find another vet!Diana P. ★★★★☆ I had curbside service at Gibraltar Vet earlier this week. It wasn’t great having to wait in my car in the sun for so long, but I know they can’t control the sun lol. If you are aiming for an appointment, maybe try earlier in the morning rather than my 4pm bake sesh. Other than that, the curbside service was great and I felt safe dropping off my pet with them. They also went through pricing with me before proving any services which was nice. It sucks to not know what something will cost and then get footed with a huge bill. I rate it 4 stars because they left something off of my paperwork, which I was a little disappointed by.Jenna G. ★★★★☆ I love to bring my two fur girls to Gibraltar Veterinary, where they treat them with the same care and loving touch as we gave them at home, They do not mind the many "mistakes" my girls do, and always accommodate us according to their needs plus they have an excellent groomer.Mom B
