Dr. Judy Duderstadt

Dr. Judy Duderstadt joined our team in 2019. Dr. Duderstadt was born in North Carolina but moved to Southeastern Michigan at a young age and grew up “downriver”. She accepted a job as a veterinary assistant after high school and continued to work in the veterinary field through college. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Wayne State University and obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. Upon graduation she earned the Boehringer Ingelheim “Primary Care Award”.

Dr. Duderstadt’s favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping pet owners provide the best possible care to their four-legged family members and developing lasting relationships with her clients. She has a special interest in Internal Medicine, preventative care and chronic disease management. Dr. Duderstadt has Cat Friendly, Fear Free, and RECOVER certifications. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Medicine Association (VMA), Michigan VMA, and SE Michigan VMA.

Dr. Duderstadt and her husband share their home with their dog (Luna), cat (Tiger), and ferret (Lord Nibbler). Outside of work she enjoys reading, watching medical dramas, and travelling to places where she can snorkel with marine life. Some of her favorite things include craft beer, Starbucks, and chocolate.

What her clients say:

‘Love doctor Judy. I would have to say she is the best vet I have ever had. Caring and knowledgeable. Explains things very well and she truly cares about your pets’

I’m so impressed by how quick I’m able to get an appointment, I’m not sitting in the lobby waiting for hours to see the Doctors and how through the exams are. Dr Judy has been especially amazing with my seniors. So happy to have found you!

Dr Judy D is awesome. She is very educated and caring. I followed her from another practice and that says a lot…front desk women are all nice and professional. All the staff have impressed me.
